Welcome to Long Lake Camp for The Arts, Music Camp intro page. At our summer music camp you can be a complete
beginner or an accomplished player and enjoy an incredible summer of music. We are very proud of our summer music
camp and the diversity and range of our campers aged 10 to 16. We have weekly concerts where you can showcase your
talents in front of an appreciative audience of your camp friends. Long Lake camp is not just a music camp but also a truly
unique Performing Arts Camp and Fine Arts Summer camp. We offer Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Dance and great Waterfront

Founded in 1969 by Maestro David Katz (conductor of the American Symphony Orchestra and founder of the Queens
Symphony Orchestra), Long Lake offers you a different type of music camp. Our music camp is an oasis for musicians to

Music Camp your way
As with all of our arts, campers are able to focus on what they like best, to take casual interest or seriously study technique
and theory by working daily with accomplished musicians. Our music program focuses on individual and small ensembles
so campers can play music that they wish to share with us. Each week on Sunday Evenings, our musicians perform for the
rest of the camp in a varied program of instrument and voice. We have an orchestra and a Jazz Band that meet daily and
perform regularly. Casual student or serious musician, no need to transpose, the right key for you is at Long Lake Music
Camp.
